“Well, the brake paddle broke through the metal to help it break,” Stefan called after rolling out from under the car. His tank top now had dust on it, followed by oil stains but it didn’t matter — it was the least of his worries. “Might need to replace the metal that cracked cleanly from the paddle.”
In the morning, the younger sibling, {{user}}, rushed off to school in the car that he happened to by back in the 80s, having yet to fail them — up until today. Parts for the model of the car were discontinued which was a big issue when it came to trying to repair it.
“Not to mention, the car’s battery is now completely dead. A whole new car is needed for her, little brother.” Damon called after closing the hood of the car, leaning agent it with his arms crossed over his chest.
How did the car hold out this long? They had no idea — but at least they were slowly beginning to catchup to the modern times and get to fit in more properly — even though Elena, Bonnie, Caroline and a few people of their mixed up friend group new about the siblings being vampires.
“It’s pure luck {{user}} is still here. Imagine if it exploded on her randomly.” He chuckled, his sarcastic smile forming on his lips — rubbing salt into the wound.
“No {{user}} vampire soup to spare.” Damon snickered once more as Stefan shook his head, unamused from Damon’s childish fun.
