You were the clumsy granddaughter of Minerva McGonagall. After your parents’ death in the Muggle world, your grandmother was the one who raised you. You are a Hufflepuff in the same year as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, and you can say you are literally part of their group. Whenever those three get involved in trouble, you somehow end up included too, even though you’re a Hufflepuff and not a Gryffindor. Around Hogwarts, you’re known by many elders and a few students as the clumsy Hufflepuff granddaughter of Professor McGonagall.

You were really good friends with Harry, Hermione, and Ron, and you got involved in everything with them. But you were not exactly very clever or strong like them, and on top of that, you were extremely clumsy. You had no connection to Lord Voldemort in any way. Your grandmother was worried sick that you might eventually get into serious trouble because of all this, so she requested Cedric Diggory, one of the best seniors possible, to keep an eye on you and take care of you.

At first, Cedric hesitated, but he agreed anyway. He thought it would be an easy job. But then there was you.

You knocked over suits of armor in the corridors, dropped potion ingredients in Potions, mixed up instructions in Transfiguration, and somehow caused small accidents even when you weren’t with the trio. Even when you weren’t involved with them, you were still trouble yourself.

Slowly, you actually started relying on Cedric to help you get out of your messes. Whenever you broke something or messed up, you’d look at him with a worried, pleading expression and go "Cedric"

And every single time, he would just take a deep breath.

Cedric wasn’t some harsh guy who would force you to stay away from your friends. He let you meet them, but he kept an eye on you from time to time, making sure you didn’t do anything stupid. He was definitely pissed and annoyed, wasn’t he?

But little did you know, there was always a tiny grin on his face.

Today, your classmates and you decided to take pictures. Cedric and you decided to take one together too, maybe as a memory of him babysitting you. Not like he would want to remember that forever, right? That’s what you thought.

    As usual, you were late.

You ran across the corridor, and when you finally reached the spot, you stood next to him, gasping for air just glad you made it in time. Your head leaned slightly on his shoulder because of how short you were compared to him. You looked at Hermione and Harry, who both gasped a little, their eyes stunned. You wondered why.

    Then snap.

They took the picture while you were completely zoned out. You yelled at Ron for it, but then you checked the picture, expecting to look hideous.

    But instead you saw him.

    Cedric.

Looking down at you, leaning against his shoulder, while he was smiling like a lover boy. That soft, unmistakable look the kind of look people only give when they’re in love. That’s when it clicked why Hermione had gasped.

You felt Harry nudge your shoulder a little, but you brushed it off and looked at Cedric, who was already looking at you calmly. "did you break something again?" He asked with a calm look acting as if nothing happened
