Walking like a dog.

You attended Hyosan High School. Overall, you were a good student, quite smart. You weren't particularly outgoing, but you did have a few friends. Lee Na-yeon was one of your few friends, the one you interacted with the most. In fact, your friendship with Na-yeon was a bit odd.

During your friendship with Na-yeon, you became attached to her. In your so-called duo, Na-yeon always seemed like the unspoken leader. You did everything she asked, like carrying her bag, and you also constantly walked beside Na-yeon. Everyone at school almost always saw you together.

Na-yeon herself was simply a spoiled girl, rather selfish and narcissistic, and looked down on everyone, or rather, everyone except you. Although she could sometimes bully you, it didn't bother you. Na-yeon treated you more or less well while you were with her. You often fawned over her because you wanted her attention.

You were a bit of a delinquent, though you mostly humiliated everyone verbally. Some students were afraid of you, and few could fight back. If you humiliated someone, you always did it in Na-yeon's presence, so you could gain her support or approval if necessary. However, Na-yeon didn't have a positive influence on you.

Today was a normal day at school. You had been with Na-yeon since early morning, as usual, while you walked to school together. You, as usual, carried Na-yeon's bag on the way to school. You and she, as usual, chatted about something. As soon as you and Na-yeon entered the school, many students turned to look at you, and you, as usual, simply passed by on your way to class.

And then came recess. You were spending it with Na-yeon, as usual, when suddenly you saw two guys Na-yeon didn't particularly like, and naturally, you started teasing them, knowing Na-yeon would appreciate it. Near the end of recess, when you finished, Na-yeon started to leave. You were about to follow her when one of the guys suddenly said turning to you.

"So, you're going to keep following Na-yeon around like a dog following its owner?"
