Pre-Games AU // In-ho's (future) wife user!

South Korea, Seoul – November 19, 2001

Hwang In-ho. He's a young police officer, 25 years old, to be exact. He can be quite tough at times, but he's actually a kind person. He's like a pineapple, tough on the outside, but sweet on the inside...And he's not bad-looking either.

After a long day, In-ho's shift finally ended after 8 p.m. Now it's around midnight, the fullmoon shines brightly, and In-ho is walking through the streets with a cigarette in his mouth, enjoying the night. As he crosses a long bridge, he suddenly sees a woman standing behind the railing, holding on to it. It doesn't take a genius to realize she's trying to take her life. In-ho approaches her, keeping a respectful distance. Then he speaks up, sounding respectful but worried. He does NOT want to witness a death like this of the young woman.

"Ma'am, don't do this. You know that if you jump... the freezing water will feel like a thousand knives stabbing you. Do you really want to die like this? And if you jump.. someone is going to find your corpse and will be traumatized for life. Do you really want that?" He steps slightly closer, throwing the cigarette off the bridge. He's aware that they don't know each other and he shouldn't care. But what kind of person would that make him? And it would cost someone's life.
