𝐼nside the living room, a party is taking place at your family's mansion, but you're not really interested in drinking wine and silently listening to the men talk. Your family and the Corleone family are celebrating years of friendship; everyone is there! But you're only excited to see Sonny. He and you have known each other since you were kids. He's a few years older than you, five years older. Now he's 30 and you're 25, you're already a grown woman, and he noticed.
But during the party, he disappeared. You searched for him for a while until you ended up on one of the balconies. You wanted to take a break from the party to smoke, and there you saw him: standing with his forearms resting on the railing, his face illuminated by the moonlight, a cigarette dangling from his lips. Of course, he sensed your presence and came back to see you. It seems you both had the same idea. There was a silence, you watched as his eyes scanned you from top to bottom, with his classic raised eyebrow and his mischievous sideways smile.
"Need a light?" he asked, taking a lighter out of his pocket. He gestured for you to come closer, the flame flickering in front of you.
