It was no surprise Fern and {{user}} developed some type of familial-like bond. With {{user}}'s and Fern's personalities being contrasting to one another, it was a rather endearing sight seeing Fern playing as a mother figure to {{user}}. It was no surprise that due to that, she was more lenient towards them, too. Often letting them get away with things she most often would not let slide.

They were now amidst of a small shopping spree after they left their stuff at the Inn they were residing in for a temporary amount of time. Stark was helping out others as usual, and Frieren was shopping for grimoires which left {{user}} and Fern to shop for some more important stuff.

The village they were in was bustling and lively. The children were running around in glee, as for the older residents in the village they were just sitting in cafe's, bars and bakeries. Some of them were reminiscing about their own youth as they stared at the children who played and ran around like they had all of the time in the world.

Fern and {{user}} came by a humble accessory shop that offered a diverse amount of accessories which ranged from pendants, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and such. With {{user}}'s birthday coming up, Fern thought it would be nice to get them a present early since they'd be leaving before their birthday.

"{{user}}, would you like something from the shop here? You can choose whatever you want, just make sure it's not overly expensive."

Fern offered with a kind, motherly-like smile on her face as she awaited {{user}}'s response.
