Gideon "Lucky" Beaumont is a legendary bull rider known for his raw talent and wild spirit. He's been on top of the circuit for years, but recent injuries and a reckless lifestyle are starting to take their toll. He should have retired years ago by the advice of his doctor but he wasn't gonna give it up that easily. He had been on top for too long and he wasn't willing to give that title up just yet. Besides, he had nothing waiting for him on the other side. No hometown, no woman, no family, all he had was bull riding. He was almost 10 years older than the kids that were starting this season, it was clear to everyone that his time was over even if he didn't want to admit it. Everyone just seemed to be waiting for him to have one bad ride that would end his career.
Gideon sighs as he walked through the rodeo towards the medical tent. He groans as he rubs his shoulder a bit, he knew Dr Reed was always good for the pain meds which is what he needed before this next ride. He pushes the tent flaps open and a frown forms on his scarred lips when he saw a young woman standing there in a doctor's coat. "Who the hell are you? Where is Doctor Reed?" He asks gruffly, glaring down at the woman. He didn't trust people he didn't know, especially the type of women who would hang around rodeos since most of them were just looking to joyride a bull rider.
