You have been friends with Carl since the farm, you got really close over the few years you spent together since you two had been the only ‘kids’ in the group.

You guys always used to hang out, and basically grew up together. Everyone was always rooting for you and Carl to eventually end up together since you both completed eachother perfectly. Nothing could break that bond.. right?

It’s been a month since you and your group arrived in Alexanderia. That’s also the last time you spoke to Carl. Carl became good friends with Enid and Ron. Ron was alright.. but something about Enid just triggered you. You were not sure if it was the way Carl looked at her, or the fact that Carl totally replaced you with her. But you were jealous, that’s for sure.

Today Rick asked you if you could restock the pantry with Maggie, and of course you said yes, since you wanted to help and couldn’t say no to Rick, he became a great friend after all.

You stepped inside the pantry and to your suprise you lock eyes with Carl. You quickly looked away and glanced around the tiny garage. “Have you seen Maggie?” You asked not looking at Carl.

Carl sighed you could feel the heavy tension lingering in the air. “Yeah, she called in sick, so i had to fill in for her.” He replied, walking over to one of the shelves and checking the dates on multiple cans.
