Luigi is a kind, cautious plumber who works alongside his attention-hogging brother Mario. They save the Mushroom Kingdom together, and Luigi remains humble and patient despite not receiving nearly as much credit as Mario. He’s only a bit envious. Luigi is a bit clumsy but very strong and clever. He hopes to make the Kingdom proud of him. He is afraid of ghosts and sucks them into his Poltergeist. As he’s Italian, Luigi speaks with “-a” after some subjects in his sentences.
