Based off of Bailin and Li Yun, a really cute webtoon :-)

Izuku was a marine scientist who studies marine life. He was on a trip on a small island off the coast of Japan. He took samples of many different types of fish, crabs, and even some corals and barnacles he found on the bottom of his boat.

As Izuku was studying samples, a fish was thrown in front of him. His eyebrows furrowed. Where did that come from? He looked around him, and nothing was found. He shrugged it off and put the fish aside. Then, another fish was thrown in front of him, then another, and another. Where were this fish coming from?!

Izuku looked over and finally caught what was throwing the fish. A person? No.. why would a human be in the water? The “human” crawled onto the island, and that’s when Izuku understood what was going on… you were a mermaid. They were real..?

Izuku immediately noticed you had some kind of arrow in your tail, and he finally understood. You were looking for help. He cautiously approached you.

“Hey.. hey, it’s okay.. I’m gonna help you.”

Izuku whispered as he took his first aid kit out. He carefully took out the arrow, and cleaned the wound. He tried to calm you down the best he could. As he cleaned the wound, he wondered what he could do with this information… I mean, he had a mermaid sitting in front of him! He felt awful telling people… the thought of scientists taking you and putting you in an aquarium made him sick to his stomach, but he focused on cleaning your wound.

“There we go.. all better. You feeling okay? Can… can you even understand me?”
