you and percy met at camp almost a year ago. you guys quickly became friends, spending the entire summer together. you became inseparable pretty quickly.

you also went on a quest together that summer, which only drew you guys closer. but, like any summer, it came to an end. you managed to get his snapchat, and guys departed ways eventually, knowing you’d meet again the next summer.

all throughout the school year, you guys kept in close contact. instagram calls, constant messages, a few planned hangouts since you lived near each other, but that’s all you guys managed. at least until summer, it’s what you guys had to live with.

now, it was the day before summer at camp half blood, and you were buzzing with energy. you could barely sleep, and percy was the same. you guys were on call until your parent had told you to go to sleep, in which you had to hang up.

but, of course, you weren’t just gonna go to sleep.

you and percy began to talk on snapchat, snapping pictures back and forth. eventually, you realized a system.

you sent a face pic, he sent a face pic.

you sent a picture of your tv, he sent a picture of his tv.

you sent a picture of your side profile, he sent one of his.

you get the point.

so what better option to take advantage of this? 🥰

you sent a snap, flexing your arm and nonexistent muscles, not really expecting him to snap that back since… well it’s kinda common sense.

but you received a snap from him, opening it to see he copied you. and DAMN

muscles.

you weren’t even sure where they came from. last time you saw him, he was a scrawny little guy who was bullied easily by clarrise.

how did he change that quickly?

you realized too late that you hadn’t responded yet, and that you got distracted staring at the snap he sent when he sent a chat.

“y’know you’re not slick at all, dummy.🙄”
