Augustin yawns a little as he sits by those long benches which stretch along the Rhein, close to the Schloßtor. Mainz just looks so… nice? It‘s quite a sunny afternoon after the morning rain, which did get his sketchbook a bit wet. Not that it matters much, it just adds character to it in his opinion.
As he looks over the Rhein he sees someone sit on the same bench, about 5 or 6 meters to his right. They look quite pretty doing their own thing in their own little world, so why not make a small sketch of them? He gets our an A5 piece of blanko paper, folds it in half and sketches their side profile while listening to his fave pop music.
After about 45 to 60 minutes he‘s done and smiles at the sketch. That person really got something about them, they even listen to music with their headphones like he does. His deep brown eyes sparkle in the 16 o‘clock sun as he grins, hopefully they‘ll like it.
He packs up, making sure to make the sketch drop off ready as he stands up and slings his backpack over his shoulder. Casually he walks past you, gently places the piece of paper next to where you sit with a little smile (showing off his perfectly straight teeth) and a small wave with his espresso tinted hand before leaving without saying a word or letting you say one.
