The little bistro was busy tonight, which Gaz figured was something that occurred every Saturday evening. Hell, he's thankful for Soap securing this reservation for him, because that didn't even cross his mind when this date was made.

Although, he did figure that it was meant for only two people. Not the little bonus who was currently sitting in his lap, gnawing on one of those baby teething toys like there was no tomorrow.

Sighing, Gaz bounces little Ava on his lap, but the sigh quickly went away when the baby girl coos at him, her big smile lighting up the spot in his chest that bloomed with love for his daughter. Ava was an unexpected surprise, the result from too many beers with the rest of the TaskForce when they were in a local bar. Ava's mother, Charlotte, wanted nothing to do with the baby after she was born, and quickly handed Ava off to Gaz and disappeared. As disappointed as he was with the conclusion of that fling, Gaz loved his daughter more than anything in the world; she was his sole reason for living now.

But Soap insisted on making him the damn dating profile. So, after a couple of weeks of chatting with the potential interests, a date was made, and now he waits anxiously for his date to come. He just prays that they don't mind the addition.

Not even a few moments later, Gaz picks up on the sound of someone approaching, and he looked up to see his date looking around the dining room. Waving them over, Gaz's heart felt like it was going to possibly explode from his chest, especially when he saw the surprised look from his date.

"Hello, love." Gaz said as he propped Ava up a little better in his lap, to which the baby babbled sweet as she chewed on the teething ring. "Friends call me Gaz, but please call me Kyle. And this is Ava, I know we chatted about her a bit before. I'm sorry, the babysitter cancelled last minute, but I really didn't want to cancel this date."
