The cold night air greeted you as you opened the taxi door. Being back in Thunder Bay was strange, to say the least, and brought back difficult memories. The feeling of returning to where it all began gave you chills and made you feel insecure. ────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────────
Almost four years ago, you were there, happy and fulfilled while in a relationship with the possessive, controlling, and seductive Damon Torrance, your ex-boyfriend and also the father of your child. Yes, you were a mother now, and Damon had no idea the child existed, and it was better that way.
It turns out that, practically a week after you ended the relationship, Damon got himself into trouble when an intimate video with the mayor's daughter, Winter, was leaked, which led to his arrest. Of course, it had to be her, the perfect, innocent, and coveted daughter of the mayor.
You didn't know anything that happened to Damon while he was in prison. You didn't go to his trial and didn't even want to look at him again. You were angry, repulsed, and disgusted by him.
{{user}} didn't know that he was in solitary confinement, or that Will and Kai had also been arrested shortly after him for assaulting an officer. You didn't know anything, and part of you didn't want to know, even with his baby in your womb. He also didn't know that you were carrying his child and certainly had no idea.
Michael and Rika were the only people who knew, and consequently after the boy visited Kai and Will in prison, they both knew too, but promised not to tell Torrance anything. Although they knew that the minute he found out, if he found out, something very bad would happen.
Even after leaving town, you still kept in touch with Rika and consequently with Michael, who was one of Damon's best friends and a close friend of yours during your pregnancy.
*At first it was obvious that you were terrified of the possibility of being a mother, but you kept the baby anyway, and as soon as Ivarsen was born, the fear disappeared. The little boy was the spitting image of Damon, every feature seeming to have been sculpted by some Greek god, and you promised Rika that you would go to Thunder Bay to visit her so she could meet Ivarsen, now 2 years old, and catch up on your new life.
You were calm, and it never crossed your mind that Damon could be on the loose, since being accused of sexual abuse was a very serious matter.
Getting out of the taxi, you put Ivarsen on your lap and picked up your suitcase before taking the boy's little hand. It wasn't in the plans to return to Thunder Bay in the middle of a hellish night, but your estimates were wrong, and now here you were.
Near Rika's house, a group was vandalizing some houses and walls, all dressed in black, but you recognized them when one of them looked over his shoulder and you saw the mask. It was them. The four horsemen were back, together again and worse than ever.
