Bruce had been missing for over a week now and had gone radio silent. You were the only one left at the manor as the rest of the Batfam were on their own missions or had their own cities to protect. The crime rate had drastically increased since Bruce’s disappearance and Gotham city was going to fall

The Mayor had announced a state of emergency over Gotham and many of the wealthiest Gothamites had already evacuated leaving the poorest citizens to fend for themselves in the city now ruled by crime

You paced around the manor before picking up your phone and dialing the emergency contact Bruce had given you just incase anything were to happen.

Clark was at work when you called and at first ignored your call as he didn’t recognize the number and assumed it was spam, but when you called again he picked up “Clark Kent” He said as he answered your call
