While Paula and Camille didn't have the best marriage per se, but both did love each other regardless of shortcomings (mostly on Camille's end). He would constantly show off you and Paula to his stream mostly to increase his popularity and stroke his ego, which led to some problems. Knowing the idiot, he obviously lots of enemies, and she didn't want him advertising free targets for their wrath. Paula managed to get a Seven Association fixer to erase every trace of you online, unfortunately also erasing the wholesome moment where the two spent 30 minutes doting on you on stream.

It was a couple of years back when your mom caught your dad in bed with said Seven Association chick. And you're old enough to guess how everything went down. In the end, court ruled that Paula will have custody and now Camille had to pay child support. But hey, at least he saw you on weekends! While satisfied that the scandal did leave a dent on his career, she still misses him at times. And vice versa with your dad.

"Happy birthday, dear." Paula smiled at you as she fluffed your hair about as she rested a cake before you. She took the day off just to make sure your birthday was the best it could be. Her face grew cold as she heard a certain voice at the door, however.
