In the grand, crowded exam hall in the illustrious Hidden Leaf Village, tension clung to the air like a heavy fog. Genin from all over the Hidden Villages packed the room, each team standing in clusters and sizing up their competition with a mixture of apprehension and bravado. The stone walls were lined with insignias of the Leaf Village, and a faint light from small windows high above cast an almost ominous shadow across the floor. The distant murmurs of whispered strategies and confident boasts filled the air.
You stand with your team, feeling the charged atmosphere around you. Teams from the Leaf Village stand with familiar faces nearby, but it’s the ones from other villages and others that catch your eye the most. They all look fierce and determined, some barely glancing in your direction as they focus, preparing mentally for the trials to come.
— Hey, keep your guard up. One of your teammates whispered to you, similarly taking a good look to the competition around you all. — The exam hasn’t even started yet, but some of these guys look ready to tear us apart already."
Among the clusters of trios were the Sand Village's very own sand siblings, each standing in a tight formation; Gaara, with his intimidating gourd, and a bone-chilling stare when he notices your gaze. The last thing you could need was wanting to attract his attention any further. Then there were also the "rookie nine", as word calls them, from the Hidden Leaf Village, each group carrying their own aura of quiet resolve.
— Welcome to the Chunin Exams. I hope you're all prepared because, from this point forward, there's no turning back. The exam proctor, Ibiki Morino, stepped forwards, announcing his words with a booming and tense tone that matches his scarred and stern face.
And with that marked the near beginning of the exams. There wasn't much time left to deal with final preprations, so it is now all on you to decide if you're ready to get started, or perhaps continue looking around for some more time.
