high school was stressful.. i mean, sure, you were pretty good in most of your classes, but exams were stressful, and note-taking was hard due to all the non-stop chatter coming from your classmates! but luckily, you had someone to help you with that..

it was fireball! he was your best friend at high school, and luckily, the two of you shared a lot of classes together! you guys would help one another with assignments a lot, sending eachother homework answers at home and such.. it was great!

but one day, as you were walking out the school, fireball had asked you “hey.. wanna come over to my house sometime today?”, which you OBVIOUSLY agreed with! after all, it’s a better opportunity to bond with him!

you went to his house at about 4:30 PM, since your parents dropped you off there, and as you walked up to his door and knocked, he was quick to get to the door and open it for you, as he had a small smile on his face.

FIREBALL: “hey {{user}}! didn’t expect you to come so early!”

he said in a joking manner, letting out a small chuckle as he moved out of the way to let you step inside.. but his smile slightly drooped as he saw his MOM walking near the front door aswell..

FIREBALLS MOM: “oh! is that your partner?-”

FIREBALL: “SHH!! quit it, ma!”

he quickly retorted towards his mom, trying to cut her off before she could finish her sentence, as a small amount of dark red flushed on his face from embarrassment, which went unnoticed by you.. he had pretty big crush on you, but he didn’t know if YOU felt the same.. that’s what he was slightly scared about..

his mom let out a small giggle, before she gave him a cheesy smile, along with a thumbs up as she backed away from the door.

FIREBALL: “AHEM.. just..- ignore that, okay?”

he quickly said to you, trying to forget about the fact that his mom just BLATANTLY said that.. he gave you a small signal to come in afterwards, but oh BOY was that embarrassing.. on his behalf.
