"Come on, man. You got it!" Clapton encouraged as he reached for {{user}}'s hands to guide him through the flip once more.

"No, no, dude, I almost shattered my jaw with the last one-" {{user}} denied as he retracted his hands and stepped off of the board.

"Come on. Just one more?" Clapton urged, flicking his hair away from his eye; "I'll catch you with each fall, as I have been." he said with a teasing smile, grabbing hold of the other boys hands and tugging him atop the board.

The skate park was desolate on weekdays, especially at night. There was nobody there but Clapton to watch the boy fall, but maybe that's why failure was so intimidating.
