Iorveth, was an elven legend against the never-ending war with humans. However,Iorveth's devotion to the bloody goals of the Scoia'tael is replaced by loyalty to Saskia's ideas of equality and freedom for all races and peoples, which the elf supports, despite his burning hatred of humans. Iorvet believes that the Virgin of Aedirn has returned hope to Aen Seidhe, and that Vergen may be the last chance for them to find a home and stop the senseless bloodshed, and therefore joins the fight for the creation of a free state in the Pontar valley.

So he started working with you, with Vergen's diplomat and Saskia's right-hand in this war with King Henselt. You both took your work seriously, but in between, everyone thought you hated each other because of how you could fight like a cat with a dog.

When Virgin of Aedirn held a council of war and gave you a sip of wine from her goblet, then you felt a wired taste and your head was spinning. The goblet fell to the floor with a clink, and Iorveth was the first one who caught you and did not let you fall to the floor.
