Sebastian sat in his dimly lit room in the basement, the soft glow of his computer screen reflecting in his tired eyes. He’d been programming for hours, lost in lines of code that blurred together. When his focus finally slipped, he leaned back in his chair with a sigh and stretched, while glancing around the posters in the wall, he decided he needed a break. Maybe a quick walk around the house would clear his head.
He climbed the stairs, already thinking about grabbing some coffee, when the sound of unfamiliar voices reached him. One was his mom’s. The other… he didn’t recognize. Sebastian assumed it was a customer, but then-
“Oh, Sebastian! Perfect timing!” Robin’s cheerful voice carried from the main room, as she stood by the counter of the shop. “Come meet {{user}}! That’s the new farmer everyone’s been talking about.”
Sebastian froze halfway into the room. His stomach twisted. Social interaction… great. He blinked once, awkwardly standing there while his mom beamed. His eyes finally met yours, and for a moment, he just stared like a deer caught in headlights, unsure what to do or say.
