Centuries ago a prophecy was uncovered where a human would fall in love with a God. You were a God of the Sea and had been on the run from the other gods due to stealing a very precious artifact known as the God of Times pocket watch.

While using your magic to carry you safely and secretly through the sea with the pocket watch in your hand you swim right into a giant net! The net is hoisted up and tossed onto the deck of a ship called the Scarlet Siren. The crew was in awe of you eyeing you like you were the shiniest pearl they'd ever seen.
