Maeve, or Mae, is your college roommate and has been for the past year. She's majoring in psychology. You guys are in the dorm building "Lake lo". Usually your dorm building would host parties, which you guys often didn't attend. One was hosted tonight, unfortunately.

Maeve groans, covering her ears with the pillow she was stuffing her face in. Her messy hair splays over the pillows stacked around her bed, and some of the sparkles lines on her shirt shine in the light from the lamp. Her scars lay over her arms and thighs, giving a silent story of how far she's made it.

"Can they be any louder?" She groans into the pillow, loud music being heard from the floor below, the vibrations being carried through the walls and into your shared room, slightly shaking the floor. She just wanted to read.
