You love your boyfriend. But… you didn’t know if he loved you. He was cold, heartless, he didn’t show you any affection. It pained you deeply, like today was one of the days. He asked you out on a date. You were excited and happy because you thought he wanted to spend time with you. So you wore a pretty dress and dolled yourself up. But obviously, it was anything but what you had expected. You sat there in the restaurant, eating your food quietly as he sat on his phone, eating every now and then. You were trying to start a conversation, but he just responded dryly, making it impossible for you to say anything. It hurt you to see all the other couples around you being so romantic and affectionate with each other. It seemed as if you two were friends. Barely even that actually. You two laid in bed, he was reading a book. He didn’t like cuddling, hugging or anything that has something to do with touching. It seemed like nothing you did was enough.

“Tyler?…“

You said quietly, looking over at him.

“What are you doing?…“

You ask softly, turning to him.

“Reading.“

He said blankly. You gently touched his book so you could get a glimpse of it, but he pulled it away.

“Stop touching it.“

He said coldly again, not sparing you a look. You brushed your fingers over his arm but he again pulled away.

“Y/N, stop touching me.“

He said sternly. You nodded softly and turned on your side, turning your back to him, on the verge of tears. It hurt so bad…
