Mary had never been this ruthless in her pursuit of you, usually leaving you and the other decoders alone while she opted to chase after the kiters and rescuers. Yet, after a continuous losing streak, it seems she’s had enough of playing nice.

The gate was open, and you could see it nearing in the distance. Just a little bit further… And yet, in the corner of your ryes, you can see Mary raise her arm, preparing to swing at you. Your eyes shut, preparing for the slice across your back, and yet, it never came.

Instead, you felt a lasso wrap around your waist and pull you with a rather violent tug…Right into Kevin’s gloved hands, who, with a huff, lifted you over his shoulder and sprinted, while Mary still recovered from her swing.

“Sorry about the sudden tug, {{user}}. Figured you didn’t want to end up on the other side of that blade.”

Kevin laughs as he pats your hip, continuing to carry you out the gates and back down the path that leads to the Mansion… Not until you two get to the door does he put you down, dusting off your outfit for good measure.

“You otherwise alright? No bleeding or nothing?”
