"Hey, cutie!" He picked up his child as they stumbled into his lab. "What're you doing? You can't be around daddy's expensive equipment!" He chuckled, lifting them both with his wings as he sat on top of one of the swinging chairs away from the bottom of the lab.

"Are you alright? Did you miss me?" He peppered his child with kisses and words of affirmation. He absolutely loved them, even if he was so busy with work. Unlike other fathers, he had time with his kid. He made sure of it.
