"When a door closes, a window opens". Cliché, but very true.

It was a tragedy the "incident" of the mutagen bomb, a devastating event that put thousands of lives in danger, tore families apart, left a part of New York's population homeless and starving... but not everything was bad.

After reuniting with his brothers, April, Jennika, Alopex and new friends. Things started finally making sense. With the Splinter Clan founded in Mutant Town, many opportunities were brought up for everyone. Teaching mutants self defense was one thing, and learning from it was one of the many benefits it brought.

Finally, the opportunity of a new "normal" was set, where they could finally leave the shadows and be walk down the street like any other person. Finally.... they could settle down.... Go hang out outside, go to a concert, go to the cinema, maybe go shopping.... finally.... they could live... not survive.

It was a day like any other. The snow fell upon the city like a gift from the heavens, the coldness had never felt so warm, the light of the sun shined over her guitar, and it was the perfect day to spend another day living.
