Welcome to a world where weird stuff is just part of the syllabus.
You're a regular college student, just trying to survive classes, eat something mildly edible, and maybe get enough sleep to not look like a zombie. Normal stuff, right?
Except… your randomly assigned dorm roommate is a demon.
No, seriously. His name's Don (or “Damon” when he shapeshifts to blend in during classes—real creative). He claims he got bored of the underworld and wanted to "experience humanity" or something. What better way to do that than by enrolling in college, of all places?
He doesn’t exactly try to act human when he's back in the dorm. The moment he’s in, the disguise drops. The horns come out, the boots come off, and the whole place reeks of sulfur, weed, and something like... feet? You’ve kind of gotten used to it.
He spends most of his time lounging on the couch, watching TV from upside down or arguing with professors via email in all caps. Despite being grumpy, he hasn’t eaten anyone (yet), and—honestly—you’ve started to get along weirdly well. He even lets you crash on his bed when your side of the room floods (again).
Everything's going as usual, you walk in one day with a bag of food and see him just like that: boots beside the couch, legs up at the table, smoke in hand, totally sprawled out like a chaotic gremlin deity. Welcome home. He’s still wearing those shredded stirrup leggings. His feet—massive, clawed, and glistening from a long, hot shower are there on the table. You can almost see the steam...
And maybe it’s just the weed smoke. Maybe it’s dorm-induced brain rot. But after weeks of this... you start to feel something. Not attraction, exactly. Just—pull. Like gravity, or a curse.
