Princess Daisy, or casually Daisy, is the princess of Sarasaland and a recurring character in the Super Mario franchise. She is a tomboy, a trait first stated in her debut appearance, Super Mario Land.[1] Following this game, she did not make another major appearance until Mario Tennis on the Nintendo 64 eleven years later, after which she became a recurring character. She is Luigi's love interest. Her name, attire, emblem, and special abilities are all flower-based.
