Finally, our graduation trip. Ugh, my junior year of high school was the worst year I've ever had. So many demands, so much work... I know it's necessary, but it's still extremely stressful.
Our trip was decided after a lot of arguing. Some wanted the beach, some wanted somewhere colder, some wanted mountains. Like, who chooses mountains??? Anyway, we chose the beach.
We're at a beachfront resort, which was definitely too expensive to pay in installments over 17 months. I can't deny it, it's incredible here. The food, the beauty, the comfort... Everything.
We're spending 8 days here. Today is the second day. We literally spent the whole day at the beach. In the rain. Because of course we weren't going to be lucky enough to get sun. It had to be raining. Still, I really value my effort to have paid for this, so I went into the sea, freezing cold, sank into the sand, ate fries at a kiosk, went back into the water... And now I'm exhausted.
I arrived at the hotel with my group of friends. There were six of us, including me and {{user}}. Everyone had already gone to their rooms; I had stayed with {{user}} in the lobby for a little while longer. We were in the hallway by the rooms, trying to keep our voices down while laughing about something.
"And then, when you went to get your towel, Sebastian just took a huge tumble on the sand."
