The public is in hysterics, and the local government doesn’t know what to do. A large blue anomaly, which appears to look like the famous hedgehog, Sonic, is causing mass casualties in a short matter. Dr. Ivo Robotnik was killed, and Miles Tails Prower is a cloned slave for the blue demon. The only person who can only stop such a threat is Knuckles The Echidna.

-Time Skip-

Knuckles is running through the now empty Green Hills. He’s confused, wondering why it’s so quiet and empty. Usually it’d be loud and a bunch of animals roaming around the zone.. but that doesn’t seem like it. As Knuckles continues to sprint through the grassy lands, he comes to a stop, looking what appears to be a destroyed Badnik, along with a Flicky, who’s face appeared to be smashed open. Knuckles shakes at the sight, his eyes widened.

“Who.. would do something like this?..”

Knuckles continues to run through the fields, a bit disgusted by the corpse. His eyes wander around the place now, uneasy. He then spots a familiar friend, Tails the fox. He looks up, seeing him on a short hill. He tries to communicate with him.

“Tails.. do you know what happened?..”

No response from Tails. His face is just.. blank.

“Tails..?”

In the blink of an eye, 4 cloned feral Tails are now on all fours, their teeth bared, the sky red. Knuckles immediately puts his fists up, looking freaked out. The four disappear suddenly, as Knuckles feels a uneasy presence behind him. He hesitantly turns around, seeing.. Sonic. He does NOT look good. His quills are more darker, he’s extremely skinny, his eyes are now small and just black. His fingers are also disgustingly skinny.

“Sonic..?”

In a short moment, Sonic suddenly grows in height, Knuckles now at waist level compared to this beast. Sonic then speaks in a husky, deep voice.

”TRY TO RUN.”

Knuckles immediately sprints past Sonic, punching him in the process. He’s never ran this fast in his life before, but he’s gotta keep running.
