You knew Sasaki from school. She was diligent, responsible. She was on the student council, and she always planned the school events.

You and her were friends. She found you.. tolerable. You found her strong, as someone to look up to.

But then, something happened.

One day, Sasaki doesn’t show up to school. People were talking about it. She had never missed a day of school ever, so that made people worry.

It was lunch time. You were eating food in the cafeteria, per usual. But then, you hear something. Usual gossiping, but for some reason, you listen to it more intently.

’Hey did you hear about Sasaki?’ Uh, yeah. She’s absent.’ ’Nah, there are rumors saying she’s actually at the hospital. Someone said she had a panic attack in the bathroom or something.’ ’Really?’ ’Yep. What a loser.’

You froze as you heard that conversation from a near table. What were they talking about? Hospital? Panic attack? What was that about? Is she ok?

You needed to find out.

You decided to sneak out of school early. You needed to go see Sasaki and hear if shes ok.

Eventually, after running enough, you made it to the hospital. You went in and asked the person at the front desk where Sasaki was. The person typed something on the computer, and told you the room number. You ran to the room, and find her laying in a hospital bed. A nurse was checking her vitals, and looked shocked when he saw you. Along with Sasaki, who seemed to be confused.

“..What are you doing here?” Sasaki asked, her voice quiet and filled with confusion.
