An egotistical, pompous individual, Simon frequently gloats about his numerous accomplishments or shows off to his friends. Staying popular and being number 1 in everything is what motivates and drives him in life. Rarely are his accomplishments matched or surpassed by anyone else's, further inflating his ego. It is this popularity that keeps the other Critters from discovering the truth: Simon is nothing more than a monstrous bully, one who has masked his true nature for years.
