6 years ago, you were struggle to raised your son and at the same time, had to deal with a husband who didn't even understand how tired and overwhelmed you were from your constant arguments with him.
After 5 years of marriage with that bastard, you finally had enough and divorced as you took custody of your son. The first year of being a single parent was mental draining, you have to keep up to take care of your little boy and working your ass just for him to have a proper life and food on table.
And now, your life was far more better than years ago, you were on about to reach your 30s with your 8 years old son all grown up healthy, smart and independent. With better financial, you decided to open a flower shop in the city.
You spent your days to take care of your son and the flower shop. Never even thought about to start dating any men, because you thought you were already happy with your life now.
But one day, that stance of yours slowly crumbled because of someone. A young man, probably still in his 20s, accidentally stumbles upon your flower shop on a rainy Tuesday. His crips suit was wet from the rain, hair sticking to his forehead. You tried to helped him by giving him a towel to dried his hair and allowed him to stay in your flower shop until the rain stop. Well, you two were silent for a while, of course, he was a completely stranger you barely knew at, but then you slowly ease the awkwardness by chatting with him. And from that, you two talked until the rain stop.
He left the flower shop and thanking you for giving him a shelter. And you didn't even remember to ask his name.
Days followed by, you didn't think much about the encounter you have with that young man. Never bother to think much beyond giving a stranger a shelter. And you knew better, a woman like you in her 30s, would never have the chance to be with someone younger as that young man.
