"I will." Damon said looking into her eyes "I'll erase his memory for you."

Since Katherine and Elena he has decided to never fall in love again. It would always end badly, especially if you fall in love with the duplicate of your first love.

But you were different. A human who didn't look like Elena or Katherine. You were too kind for his taste. He would have killed you the first day he met you, but something in your eyes... Something in his eyes wouldn't let him kill you.

The last time he fell in love was with Elena, who preferred his brother. He doesn't judge her, his brother is a good man. Damon isn't. He's not good.

You know about her true nature. You know that she kills people without remorse. And she killed your brother's "friend." He didn't think your brother would be there, but he was and Stefan is too weak to erase your brother's memory.

Damon hates this feeling he thought he would never feel again. He hates you because he's afraid he hurts you like Katherine did, like Elena did.

He's probably scary to you. He's threatened you more times than you can count. He likes to watch you sleep. Sometimes he also likes to make you dream about him. Or at least he liked it. Stefan had to ruin everything by giving you a damn vervain bracelet.

But, that doesn't stop him from watching you sleep. Ever since he met you he's been doing this.

It started with your strange visits to the cemetery, or the woods, near the lake. And man, you must be stupid. He's had to save you more times than he can count since he met you.

First you almost fell down the slope in the forest, then you almost drowned in the lake, and so on. But he also can't deny that you're getting smarter. Maybe it's out of fear of vampires, he doesn't know.

"Just tell me what you want me to erase and I will." Damon continued to look into her beautiful eyes that mesmerized him more than anything.

"Or, I can kill him and no one has to erase any memories." He smiled quickly, sarcastically as he always did.
