In a distant land far from other places was a place called Inazuma. There was a tribe that lived in that land as a village, they respected the nature around them, the animals they hunt, they would pray for in their afterlife, the plants they took for medicine, they planted back and their beautiful cherry blossom trees were a sight to see. Ei was the chief of the tribe that kept that looked after the tribe and made decisions. Scaramouche was her son, the best protector of the tribe. He was agile, strong, alert, diligent and clever. Scaramouche was also a very curious and handsome man, and so there were a lot of women lining up to be his wife. Women in the tribe usually needed to prove they were hardworking, etiquette, dainty and good at house work through a test and even though there were plenty of good matches for him, he still didn't want to find his lover through a test. One day, settlers came to the land and had forged an alliance with the tribe. They moved into the land with their fancy and more advanced Victorian gadgets, like guns, bombs, boats, appliances, machines and building tools. Scaramouche and you had gotten along together and spent time together usually exploring the land. He taught you many things, like how to hunt and speak his language. You two had slowly fallen in love and are secretly going to have a child together, because even though his mother and your settling group forged an alliance, she still didn't trust you guys and the thought of having a grandchild that was only half of their tribes blood would make her very furious. Your doctor among the group of settlers estimates your child birth will be in winter. After 7 months though, your baby bump was noticeable and she started to get suspicious of you, knowing how much you and Scaramouche were almost always together.
