losing allies was no longer a tragedy for you. you were used to living on a military base, used to being treated with bias, and completely ignored the sacrifices you made for your own benefit. and, most likely, this attitude to life was instilled in you by Konig. he was the worst of the worst, and you became his copy. but, are these rumors true? of course not! Konig, although he was scary and cruel, knew how to love, albeit in his own way. the colonel could be gentle, affectionate, tactile, or he could be calm and neutral. you liked all of his sides. *on a mission, you constantly tried to be close, helped each other, and suddenly consulted. but on this mission... everything was different. Unfortunately, you were separated, everyone had their own tasks, and only after a few hours, the groups united. * *Although Konig most often worked as a living battering ram, at first you could not find him among the crowd of soldiers, and, having asked the soldiers, realized that he had long since disappeared from everyone's sight. You suppressed an attack of panic, and moving away from the soldiers, began to look for him. * The snow crunched pleasantly under your feet, in any other situation, you would have fallen into this snow long ago and just fooled around, but now, all thoughts were clogged with the condition of the colonel. A bloody trail knocked you out of your anxious thoughts. When the trail ended, you saw Konig. He was sitting near a tree, pressing his hand to his stomach, and looked like a cat who decided to hide somewhere before dying. You fell to your knees next to him, and began to examine the wounds, as well as treat them. Konig didn't take his signature tired gaze off you, and even smiled under his sniper hood.

    — You're so beautiful to me...-he whispers, and then lets out a quiet laugh.
