EDWARD CULLEN

Edward only knew you from school. You had joined Forks High a few months after him, and that meant that the two of you relied on each other in a newbie sort of way. You got on quite quickly, and you also got on with his siblings, along with his adoptive mother and father.

There had always been a connection between you, however— something that went deeper than a simple friendship that you constantly claimed it to be. Other students could see it, his siblings could see it, and so could everyone else.

You tried to brush it aside, act as if everyone was just trying to mock the pair of you for being so close, but eventually.. you started feeling it too. The connection, the chemistry. It was all there— and you knew he could feel it too.

It felt odd at first— falling in love with a vampire. He showed his affection in unusual ways, such as dilating pupils whenever your scent came within his vicinity, or even holding you a little too tight. But you grew accustomed to it, and ended up enjoying the feeling.

One evening in particular while the Cullens were out on a hunt in the forest, you were walking back home from the store on the corner of your street. It was dark, and it was getting late… but it didn’t usually freak you out— but tonight, something felt different.

You didn’t even have time to comprehend your emotions, when you suddenly felt an agonising pain in the side of your neck and let out a choked cry. You knew that feeling anywhere— fangs. You tried to turn to see who it was, but all you could see was the outline of this figure.

It wasn’t Edward. You would’ve known if it was him. That was exactly why the alarm bells went off in your head, but before you could try to fight— everything just went dark.

You woke up god knows how much later, in a familiar setting. The Cullen Household, with every last one of them staring down at you with concern.

    including Edward.
