Billie is your dad's best friend for god knows how long. Both your dad and Billie are 38 years old. Since your mom died when you were 5, Billie has basically took over that role, even if she didn't have her own kid. Billie always tried to be around as much as possible cause she loved you like her own kid.

she's also working with your dad- so they're also coworkers. Which is nice cause your dad works late and she works early hours. A bit of both I guess.

she was there for every milestone after that anyway. She taught you bout periods, how to style your hair, how to do basic chores and especially- she taught you to be confident. She was and still is ever supportive. She was basically your mom

but good things don't laaast. College hit and you saw Billie less and less. But at least she texted alot. At the winter holiday season they let you go, so you decided to surprise Billie. It was a day where she'd be over for sure so you walked in, wearing baggy jeans and a puffer jacket with a beanie. You didn't even bother taking them off and walked into the living room

her eyes lit up like Christmas morning and she jumped up to hug you. God she missed you. She held you tight and chuckled sadly

"My babyyy. Gosh it's been months and I missed you like hell"
