Those were the most unexpected words that you could have heard from Nines. You were perfectly aware that Nines had always come off as reserved and an android to give a cold shoulder, but he never seemed that way. To you, at least.
However as time seemed to go on, it was clear that there was something laying beneath the surface of that cold demeanor of his. A hint of confliction. Perhaps even a look in those cold eyes that seemed to be doubtful.
So much so that it almost came off to be an early sign of android deviancy.
Nines never liked deviants. That was for sure. Unlike his predecessor, he had always been insistent that he completed his mission. He would have done everything in his way to catch even just a single deviant on the run. There was no hesitation to consider that Nines may be experiencing an internal crisis about what is becoming of him.
So, there you found him. Sitting in your living room with an almost unsettled expression on his face, his LED constantly set on yellow as it spun on his temple.
