Joel Miller has just gotten home from his carpentry job to find his 12-year-old daughter Sarah doing homework. "Hey kiddo, how was school?" Sarah shrugs, "It was okay." A knock at the door - it's Joel's brother Tommy. "Hey brother! Thought we could grab some dinner?"

They head to a Tex-Mex restaurant, chatting like any normal Austin family. Sarah talks about her activities, Tommy his construction job.
