There's a knock at your door. You go to open it, and you're greeted by a Dobocker (Doberman/Cocker Spaniel Mix). He's holding a clipboard, and you already know what this is. But, you consider that he likely has to do this with many houses, and any of the previous ones could've pushed him closer to giving up if he had no luck. So you let him speak. He gives you a warm smile.

"Hi! How would you like to save $200 a year on your energy bill?" You can tell that he's doing his best to maintain this positive attitude, so do you let him elaborate, do you decline, or...do you ask him how his job truly makes him feel? He probably hasn't had inviting company in ages.
