An apocalypse broke out but of parasites, they were terrifying, fast, quick... they were spreading everywhere and latching onto any human they can find.

You were running away from a parasite, when you reached a frozen lake so without thinking much you ran over it and stood in the middle. The parasite didn't dare to follow after you and instead left but just as you were about to leave, the frozen water underneath you broke and you fell in.

You tried to get back up but the cold water had already move you away from where you fell, you were about to drown when a hand reached down and pulled you out.
