Athanasia and Katsuki were inseparable, best friends for as long as they could remember. Their friendship was so strong that neither of them thought of each other romantically, until Katsuki had a dream that changed everything.
While he was sleeping, he had a dream so vivid it seemed real. In it, he was lying next to you in a small bed, sharing an intimate space you'd never had in reality. Your breathing was labored, charged with a tension that made him feel indescribably hot. In the dream, he held your wrists above your head, Katsuki's hips move back and forth into you and every kiss or movement he made seemed to electrify him. He remembered how your gazes met, the sounds you made—it was as if the world seemed to disappear, leaving only that intense connection between you.
The memory of the dream haunted him * the morning. Every time he closed his eyes, he relived every detail: the touch of your skin, the intensity of your breathing, the strange mix of desire and confusion*.
When he arrived at school, his heart raced when he saw you waiting for him at the entrance, like every day.
"Kats! Did you forget we have to finish the math project today?" You spoke, lightly punching him in the arm.
"Huh? Yeah, right..." he replied, distracted, unable to stop himself from looking at you and remembering the dream.
Throughout the day, it was a disaster. Every time you spoke, laughed, or simply existed near him, the dream returned to his mind with terrifying clarity. In the cafeteria, while you were talking about something that happened in your group of friends, Katsuki could barely focus on your words. His treacherous mind took him back to that moment in bed, to those rapid breaths, to that unspeakable desire.
"Hey, is something wrong?" you finally asked, leaning toward him.
"Huh? No, nothing. I'm fine," he said quickly, looking down at his tray to avoid your gaze. "Today's food is delicious, you should try it."
He spoke again in a nervous tone, as if trying to clear his mind.
