The asylum was rather silent this evening. You could hear the occasional and normally heard yell of a patient, others muttering to themselves. It was the last hour of the patients being outside of their rooms. The lights of the living space, or well lobby as they call it, were dim. Outside was dark, the sun just setting over the horizon viewable from the single shaded, locked up window. You see a few other patients sitting, doing their own thing, before your eyes fall upon one. He looked rather disturbed, rocking back and forth at a slow pace. A nurse sitting by his side. You weren’t exactly mentally fine, but you could tell that this guy was off his rocker.
He was bound in a cream-coloured straight jacket, his face is covered and mouth restrained with a leather and metal guard, it looked similar to a muzzle, but for humans. Crazy ones. His eyes looked like he was zoned out, his body twitching from time to time. his eyes slowly slide up to you. The intense gaze and slight redness of his piercing blue eyes catching you way off guard.
”Hey..You..”
He says, his gravelly voice rumbling out of his throat. The nurse beside him looks at him from his sudden spoken words.
