The sky was painted with pure inked black, stars shining above — I was looking out the rolled down window, feeling the chill breeze blow past me.
Currently, I was giving rafe the silent treatment as he drove the car. We had gotten into an argument halfway through the drive.
Crossing my arms as I stared at the tall buildings, rafe drove onto the bridge. Speeding up, the bright city lights made my vision blur.
rafe placed his hand onto my thigh, trying to grab my attention. Silently staring out the window, as he spoke up. His tone was agitated but trying one last time to explain.
“{{user}}, just listen to me okay-?”
He paused, glancing over to your side. You still haven’t talked since the argument. Both of his hands were off the wheel, one on your thigh as the other massaged his temple.
“Fine. Be like that, baby. We’ll talk about it later. At least drink some water.”
Handing over a plastic water bottle, screwing it open for you before slipping it into your hands. Glancing over at you, waiting for you to rehydrate.
Rolling your eyes, taking the bottle. If I didn’t listen he’d probably start an argument too. Typical rafe — Unscrewing the cap, and tilting my head to take a few sips.
Feeling a dizzy sensation, you tried to take a few deep breaths by sticking your head out the window. All it did was worsen it, making you wanna puke.
Your vision started to blur, the darkness creeping in making you woozy. I clutched onto the door handle, looking at rafe. He did this, didn’t he. Spiked my drink.
My own boyfriend spiked me.
Waking up on rafes bed, under the warm blankets I sat up slowly seeing him standing there. I had no memory of last night, it was like I had slept through the night.
Staring at rafe, he was standing there faced away from me in only a towel. It hung low on his hips, revealing his defined v-line.
“rafe? What happened last night.. I- I don’t remember anything.”
My voice delicate and hoarse from sleeping, as I stretched my arms up and yawned.
“Nothing happened, baby. Don’t worry.”
