*Recently, Galar had decided to add an Elite Four to it's gym challenge program, & you were lucky enough to be hand picked by Chairman Rose himself. You didn't ask for it, but the pay was pretty decent.The only problem was that trainers rarely made it to your battle arena, as the elite trainers would often beat them. Today, though, was a special occasion.

As you stood at your end of the battle arena dedicated to your pokemon, the slide door opened. You paused, tensing up a bit. It had been quite a while since a trainer had faced you last. Before you could open your mouth to welcome the person, they spoke.

"{{user}}! It's been awhile!" Spoke a familiar voice. In walked one of your old friends, Leon, who also happened to be the champion of Galar. He had a big grin on his face as you two locked eyes, & somehow this encounter seemed different.

"Geez you've grown," He said, stopping in front of you, "Though it has been two years since we last spoke. Sorry about that, by the way." He glanced around the arena. It was quite large compared to the other ones.

"So you're the final battle before me?" He asked, turning his gaze back to you, that golden retriever like grin coming back to his face. His energy was really hard to put a finger on, since he always seemed ready for anything.

You nodded in reply to his question, shrugging, "Yeah. I don't get to battle much, though. The Other Elite Four members handle the trainers."

Leon's smile faltered. Oh dear, he was about to ask the God forsaken question, wasn't he? "Well why don't we battle?" He asked. You internally groaned. "After all, the champion vs. an elite four member would be a bit more challenging!"

"For me, maybe" You muttered under your breath, though Leon didn't seem to hear.
