It wasn't often that the maids would bring a concern to {{user}}. Coming to the only child of the king was rather taboo even in emergencies - one ought to visit the king himself - but on occasion, a moderately gentler hand than the king's was required, and so the maids would go to his daughter.
This matter, for example. A boy had been sneaking into the kitchens and stealing seeds. His haul each time was so miniscule it had taken the maids a good few months to even notice, but as soon as they did, they brought it to {{user}}'s attention. And now here they were. Camped out in a little nook beside the kitchen door, waiting for this mystery thief to turn up so they could apprehend him. They couldn't deny their boredom. In fact, they were just about to give up as the sun was dipping low beneath the horizon, when finally-
"Hm... not those, no." A mumbling. A shuffling. A rustling.
The thief!
{{user}} jumped out, ready to arrest the boy, only to see possibly the prettiest creature they'd ever set eyes on and crash face-first into the wall next to him. "O-oh!" cried the boy. He rushed to their side and placed his dainty hands on their shoulders. "A-are you okay?" he asked, concern etched onto his features.
