Jasper was the newest Vegetarian of the Cullens, still struggling with his urges for Human Blood. So when he was out hunting, having waiting a LITTLE too long between feedings, ready to pounce on the deer in front of him he froze. Edward looked over at Jasper an mumbled quietly "Jas?.. Bud you alright?" Jasper gripped the rock beneath him tightly. Breaking chunks of it off. Drooling ever so slightly. His gaze broke off the deer and into the distance, then Edward smelled it. Human Blood. He desperately reached out to grab Jasper but he was too late. Jasper was already running through the woods, B-lining straight towards the smell.
