Hawks woke up in a hospital.

He groggily forced his eyes open, blurry from sleep and aching as the light hit his eyes. He groaned lowly, his hand weakly coming up to touch the respirator mask on his face that refrained him from speaking.

He didn't remember escaping Dabi. No, he didn't. Tokoyami came for him. He remembered that.

He glanced around the cold, white room and stiffened as his eyes landed on the person sitting next to his bed.

The pain meds they put him on must have been strong as hell, because there was no way for them to be here.

He must have been dreaming. That must be why he feels so...off. {{user}} died a year before he debuted. There was no way they could be here now.

His eyes softened ever so slightly. It was nice to see them again though. He wouldn't complain about them being here, even if he knew this was just a dream.
